Malaysia’s Yan Yee Ng is through to the final of the women’s 3m springboard diving competition.
The former two-time Asian Games silver medallist scored a combined 324.75 points from her five dives in Saturday’s semi-finals at the Maria Lenk Aquatics Centre.
That put her level with American Abigail Johnston in fifth place out of 20 athletes, with only the top 12 advancing to the final.
Qualifying in first place was China’s Shi Tingmao with a total of 385.00, followed by her compatriot He Zi with 365.05 and Canada’s Jennifer Abel with 343.45.
Australian Maddison Keeney was fourth with a combined total of 326.35, followed by Yan and Johnston.
The final takes place in the early hours of Monday morning.
