If Borussia Dortmund are looking for an injection of pace into their attack, then they won’t find anyone faster than Usain Bolt.
The 100 metre world record holder has joined the Bundesliga outfit on trial, as part of a link-up with sportswear giant Puma.
During his athletics career, Bolt expressed his long-held desire to play for Manchester United, while he also trained with South African club Mamelodi Sundowns earlier this year.

But it was the likes of Marco Reus and Mario Gotze who got a glimpse of the 31-year-old’s footballing talent during the first of a two-day trial.
Bolt was pictured on the training pitch alongside the likes of Andre Schurrle, and the rest of the Dortmund squad that weren’t selected for international duty, before he enjoyed a tour of the club’s facilities.
Presuming that Dortmund opt against handing Bolt a contract, then his footballing skills will be on show this summer when he takes part in a game for Soccer Aid in June.
