Wenger gives Arsenal players a knitting lesson

Managers need to find a way to unwind from the pressures of the Premier League, yet Arsene Wenger has demonstrated an unusual hobby to his players.

In a spoof charity video, Wenger gives Arsenal trio Alexandre Lacazette, Rob Holding and Callum Chambers a lesson in how to knit a Christmas jumper.

The funny footage is part of a campaign by Save the Children, who are hoping to raise festive funds.

Wenger is shown at Arsenal’s training ground teaching the three players the finer points of knitting, with Holding looking slightly concerned about his lack of technical skill.

Save the Children have been the charity partner of the Arsenal Foundation since 2011, with the Gunners raising more than £2million during that time.
