Chaz Davies produced a daring display to win Sunday’s Race Two of the Thailand leg of the 2018 World Superbike Championship.
The Ducati rider powered to his first win of the season from seventh on the grid at the Chang International Circuit.
It took Davies eight laps to hit the front after overtaking Michael van der Mark. The Dutchman initially managed to keep in touch with the flying Davies, but the Brit would start to pull away and he would remain in the lead in splendid isolation.
It caps off a brilliant weekend for Davies, who earned a solid third place in Race One on Saturday.

Former race leader Alex Lowes would settle for the final podium finish on his Yamaha. Meanwhile, defending champion Jonathan Rea, who dominated Race One would cross the line in fourth after uncharacteristically running wide on several occasions.
Rea’s Kawasaki teammate Tom Sykes would be forced to retire from the race despite being in third position at one stage after engine issues.
