Formula E raises funds for road safety

This took place at the Perez Art Museum and was attended by dignitaries, teams, drivers and celebrities, the evening saw Formula E CEO Alejandro Agag and representatives from Michelin North America hand over the six-figure cheque to winners the American Driver and Traffic Safety Education Association.

There was also a charity auction to support Formula E's foundations with the prize being a behind the scenes raceday experience with home team Andretti. 

Guests included Mayors Tomas Pedro Regalado, Mayor of Miami city, and Mayor of Miami-Dade County Carlos Gimenez, supermodel Karolína Kurkova, motorsport legend Emerson Fittipaldi and Formula E drivers Nelson Piquet and Jarno Trulli.

The inaugural Miami ePrix takes place on March 14 from 8:15am (local time) with full coverage on the official championship website.
