Movistar Yamaha rider Maverick Vinales is annoyed following his poor showing at qualifying at MotoGP Assen after dominating the free practices.
The riders' championship leader could only muster an 11th place grid spot on a damp track, his worst qualifying result since last year at Phillip Island.
Vinales had topped the timesheets in a dry FP2 then was fourth fastest on Saturday in a wet FP3.
"In FP3, I was feeling great so I don't know, I was feeling good, very good rhythm, doing good laps," the Spaniard told motorsport.com.
"Then suddenly in qualifying I didn't have any feeling. I don't know if the track was drier or something but no feeling in qualifying with both tyres. Especially the rear on the entry of the corner and in the middle."
"I think there was a little bit less water on the track, but I don't know the reason why I got no feeling to go fast.
"Even if it was sometimes a little bit dry, I couldn't go faster because I felt I'd crash every time. This morning I felt much more confident."
Pole sitter, rookie Johann Zarco, was over two seconds faster than Vinales while teammate.
