Pirelli have confirmed their tyre choices for the Austrian Grand Prix, opting for the softest of their range.
Last season Pirelli brought the ultrasoft tyres to the Red Bull Ring with that being the compound of choice amongst the drivers.
This year they are sticking with their softest range for the July race; the ultrasofts, supersofts and softs.
As per usual, team drivers must save one set of the purple-marked tyres for Q3.

This set will be given back to Pirelli after Q3 for those who qualify in the top 10, but the remaining drivers will keep it for the race – as is the case currently.
And each driver must have a set of the supersofts and softs available for the race, using at least one of them.
They are free to choose their remaining 10 sets of tyres with Pirelli only dictating the choice for the first five races of this season.
