Marc Marquez says the last month has been "too long" and he can't wait to get back on the track for the first test of 2017.
The bikers will get to officially test their new machines on January 30 when they travel to Malaysia to ride at the Sepang International Circuit.
And Marquez is raring to go ahead of the new campaign with him keen to meet up with the team and get started.
“We’re looking forward to the first test because this last month is too long – for every rider I think," Marquez told MotoGP.com. "Everybody wants to be there in Malaysia trying the new bikes.

"We’ll try to enjoy it. I’m looking forward to going there, meeting my team, seeing what new things we have and starting the season in the right way.”
The first race of the year is in Qatar in March and the reigning MotoGP champion hasn't decided yet on his strategy for the season ahead.
“When we’ve finished pre-season we’ll see how we feel with the bike…and then we’ll see which strategy," Marquez added. "But of course to fight for the Championship you have to be consistent, fast and aggressive when you need to be.
"We’ll try to do our best, and see what the strategy will be…”
