It was "back to business" for Nico Hulkenberg at the Red Bull Ring on Friday as he set the sixth fastest time on the practice timesheets.
Having won the Le Mans 24 Hours last Sunday, Hulkenberg was back behind the wheel of his VJM08 in Austria on Friday.
The Force India driver was 13th in the morning's practice before a switch to the supersoft tyres in the afternoon saw him shoot up the order.
He was sixth quickest in FP2 with his 1:10.160 just over half a second off the pace.
"Generally we made good progress over the day," he told Autosport.
"Building up in the morning, it took me quite a while to get back into the groove with this car after I've driven something else for quite a few laps.
"But then it was back to business really. It was a pretty straightforward Friday and trouble-free."
He added: "Obviously a few days on from Le Mans now I still feel very happy and proud.
"But I have a job to do here and that's where my focus is at the moment.
"In the next few weeks when I get home, I will realise more and more [the achievement] and try to enjoy it as much as I can.
"I don't think we'll have to wait until the end of the season [to celebrate].
"I think we'll do something within Porsche, within our team, much earlier than the end of the year."
