Daniel Ricciardo is one of several drivers voicing his displeasure of the changes made to Turn 15 at the Sepang circuit.
The drivers had their first taste of the revised corner, which is now off-camber, and many struggled to find the perfect line in practice.
While some tried to run it deep, others went for the middle of the road to negate as much of the camber as possible.
However, while their lines may have been different, their opinions were not.
Ricciardo said: "It's not the most attractive on the calendar.
"It's challenging. I guess that's one positive side of it.
"You take the inside, but then it sort of washes it away with the negative banking and you're on the outside so you do a lot more distance.
"I wouldn't say it's a fun corner, you're really struggling for grip as the track falls away."
Haas' Romain Grosjean also isn't a fan.
"It's not very enjoyable to go through, so I don't really like it," said the Frenchman.
"I prefer the banking the other way where you can get the grip and go fast in the corner, so they've made it worse."
As for Jolyon Palmer, the Renault driver summed it up simply as "it is an annoying last corner now."
