What excited Agag was the fact that the drivers' championship went down to the wire and was decided by a single point.
NEXTEV TCR driver Piquet won the title over e.dams-Renault's Sebastien Buemi.
In an interview afterwards, Agag said that it was a dream finish to the first season in London.
"Even in my wildest dreams I couldn't have come up with an ending like that. This has been an amazing day and this is what we wanted to do, to bring great racing to the cities and we made it today."
Agag felt that Piquet's clever strategy of saving energy during the first half of the race and then overtaking later on proved to be the winning formula.
"Two laps from the end, anybody could have been champion of Formula E – any of those three drivers," said Agag.
"They are great drivers, any of them would have made a great champion, only one can win at the end and I think the winner did a very clever strategy to compensate for the weather that caused qualifying problems and he won the championship.
"The other drivers were fantastic throughout the championship," he added.
