Sauber’s recruitment drive continues

Sauber have continued to bolster their technical team with news that former Ferrari and Haas strategist Ruth Buscombe will join the Swiss team.

Buscombe recently spent eight months working with newcomers Haas, but will take up a new role of strategy engineer with Sauber as of next month's Malaysian Grand Prix.

The 26-year-old started out with Ferrari before moving to Haas as a race strategist where she helped the American outfit get off to a points-scoring start.

Buscombe's signing is just the latest for Sauber, who earlier this month appointed Nicolas Hennel de Beaupreau as Head of Aerodynamics and Xevi Pujolar joined the team as their Head of Track Engineering in August.
