12:56pm- And that brings our coverage for the weekend to a close. What a race!

12:47pm- See exactly who finished where below:

12:44pm- Great character from Hamilton, he and his team are happy with their podium finish after a tricky start.

12:41pm- Rosberg wins in Bahrain!!

12:38pm- Rosberg, Raikkonen and Hamilton make up the top-three with four laps to go. It looks like it’s going to end that way barring any serious drama.

12:35pm- Verstappen continues to impress.

12:32pm- In the middle of the pack, Ericsson and Magnussen continue their arm-wrestle.

12:30pm- 10 laps to go now, have a squiz at who has been quickest where on the track.

12:27pm- Watch the earlier collision between Hamilton and Bottas.

12:24pm- Grosjean into fifth as he passes Massa.

12:22pm- Vandoorne moves into the points as he passes Ericsson into Turn One. A solid debut so far for the Belgian. Hamilton still fighting for second.

12:21pm- The top-three looks like this with the final 10 laps approaching.

12:19pm- Wowza, these guys are flying this evening!!

12:16pm- New fastest lap of the race from Rosberg after his stop. 1:34.482.

12:13pm- Raikkonen back in the pits.

12:10pm- 22 laps remain and this is the latest.

12:03pm- Take a look at the moment Vettel’s worst nightmare came true.

12:00pm- At the halfway-point, this is how it’s all shaping up. Rosberg’s lead is slowly being chewed up.

11:59pm- Slow stop for Rosberg. Supersofts go on, but it was 5.3 seconds. Will that cost him? He’s still comfortably ahead.

11:56pm- Raikkonen pits and goes back on the supersofts. Grosjean pits from fourth. It was a 4.0 second stop. Looks like he is on supersofts too. 11:53pm- Speaking after he was forced out of the race Vettel has no answers as to what happened to his vehicle: “I don’t know [what the problem was] yet. I lost power, saw smoke coming out and we decided to stop. Why? I don’t know at this stage.”

11:50pm- The fight for fourth is fierce between Ricciardo and Grosjean. The latter is just winning that duel.

11:47pm- This is the latest after 23 laps.

11:45pm- Rosberg cruising at the front. Further back, Saubers and Wehrlein are in a race of their own!

11:40pm-

11:36pm- Grosjean being aggressive and making moves of his own.

11:34pm- New fastest lap of the race from Kimi Raikkonen with a 1:36.761. He’s flying on the soft tyres.

11:31pm- Rosberg is on soft tyres. 11:30pm- Hamilton pits and it’s a 2.4 second stop. He is now on medium tyres. 11:29pm- Nine laps in and this is how it all looks.

11:25pm- Drive through penalty for Valtteri Bottas for causing a collision with Hamilton at Turn One. It’s just been confirmed.

11:23pm- Button’s race is now over, much to Alonso’s disappointment!

11:20pm-Let’s take stock after a frenetic start. This is how things currently look after six laps.

11:18pm- Palmer’s race is all over.

11:15pm- It appears the damage to Hamilton’s car is repairable. It just must be on the front-wing. That nose can be changed at the first stop. Will cost him a few seconds though.

11:10pm- Wild start. Rosberg leads at the end of lap one, with Williams taking advantage of the chaos to go up to second and third with Felipe Massa and Valtteri Bottas!

11:08pm- Lights out!! Contact for Hamilton, he’s got damage and is back in the pack. Bad start for him!

11:05pm- Vettel is out of the race before it has even started. Engine failure. Lots of smoke pouring from the rear.

10:58pm- Stoffel Vandoorne will be racing in his place.

10:55pm- This has all the makings to be a very special Grand Prix. Setting is magnificent.

10:53pm- Fernando Alonso looking glum, he will not be racing today as he has broken ribs.
