WSBK Ducati rider Chaz Davies says the Panigale is almost complete as a race package and just needs more top speed for him and team-mate Davide Giugliano ahead of this weekend’s Aragon round.
In an interview with bikesportnews.com, Davies said the only thing missing from the bike is a bit of top-end power but confirmed that was something being worked on by Ducati.

“Now the bike is really close in so many areas. Over the past couple of years, I have picked holes after every race and we have always taken steps forward.
“We are getting to the stage now where I think the bike is nearly complete. The only thing we miss is a bit of top-end power,” said Davies to bikesportnews.com.
“It’s been a work in progress but it’s quite satisfying have a bike I am happy with in loads of different areas. Over the winter, Ducati have even made strides in some areas that I didn’t think they would be able to.
“The key thing we are missing is a bit of speed but there is stuff in the pipeline and it’s coming quite soon.
“Whether it is all that we need remains to be seen but there are a couple of things on the way which will definitely help.”
