MotoGP’s Ecstar Suzuki rider Maverick Vinales says he is focused on racing and is not thinking about a switch from the Suzuki team to move elsewhere at the end of this season.
The Spanish youngster looked in fantastic form in pre-season and finished in sixth place in the opening race at Qatar. Vinales says he is waiting to see what package Suzuki comes up with to give him a chance at winning the MotoGP championship going forward.

In an interview with bikesportnews.com, Vinales said that he was very happy with the Suzuki team and hoped to stay.
“For sure at the moment, I’m still not thinking about it. My mind is set on the races and trying to do the best I can and try to take all the profits of the Suzuki but anyway, the only thing that would make me believe in Suzuki are the results,” Vinales told bikesportnews.com.
“For sure if I see that in the future Suzuki can have a bike I can be a World Champion with, then this can convince me to stay but anyway I’m here at Suzuki and I feel really great here.
“At the moment, I feel that this is my team, my place to be, so for sure if I need to leave it’s going to be so difficult.
“But anyway I think that a rider needs to make his own career and needs to find the good parts, the good bike, the good team to win the Championship.”
