Vettel ‘very content’ at Ferrari

Although Sebastian Vettel won’t commit to ending his F1 career with Ferrari, he concedes it is very likely that he won’t change teams again.

The German made his Formula 1 debut with Toro Rosso before moving up to senior team Red Bull Racing where he won four World titles on the trot.

A trying season in 2014 prompted a move over to Ferrari where Vettel made an immediate impact, winning three grands prix and finishing third in the championship.

“I never dreamed that my first season with Ferrari would go so well,” he told his website before hailing the “dedication, passion, enthusiasm” of all Ferrari employees and the team’s fans.

“Ferrari is simply a myth,” he added. “Ferrari was for me always something special. As a little boy I dreamed of sitting in the Ferrari again.”

But whether he will be sitting in a Ferrari when his calls time on his Formula 1 career remains to be seen.

When asked if could end his career with the Scuderia, Vettel said: “Maybe.

“As a person I am not the type of person to constantly switch from one team to another every year.

“I am not that and never have been, in no walk of life.

“At the moment I feel very content and we have targets that we aim to achieve together.”
