Who was at fault, Rossi or Marquez?

The incident in Sunday's Malaysian Grand Prix involving Valentino Rossi and Marc Marquez has divided opinion. 

The build-up to the race had been dominated by talk of Rossi's unexpected accusations that Marquez had actively looked to slow him down during the previous round at Phillip Island, in an effort to aid Jorge Lorenzo's title bid.

Rossi will now start from the back of the grid for the title-deciding race in Valencia after stewards ruled that he intentionally pushed Marquez off his bike has the pair jockeyed for position at Sepang.

But should Rossi have blacked flagged or is he at fault at all? The Twitter reaction from riders past and present offered differing opinions, but there is more support for Rossi than Marquez…
