Maverick Vinales was quickest in the warm-up session at Sepang on Sunday morning, setting the pace in the tropical weather just hours before the race.
The Spaniard impressed on a drying track with damp patches visible, clocking 2:01.146, a full second slower than his time during FP3 on Saturday, as the riders used slick tyres.
Ducati’s Andrea Ianonne came in second with a time of 2:01.353, two hundredths of a second behind.
