Lexi Thompson returns to the ANA Inspiration this week, her first and only major championship win.
As a result, the American is upbeat about her chances and the statistics support her belief as Thompson has a great record at the event.
Having recorded an impressive T21 finish as a 15-year-old amateur, Thompson went on to win the tournament in 2014 and has finished solo seventh and fifth since.
"This is a very special tournament to me because it was the first major that I've ever won," the 22-year-old told lpga.com.
"Just this whole week in general, it's very special to me. Obviously, it's a very big tournament but just the history behind it and the tradition, it's just overall very special."
This weekend has some added pressure for Thompson, as points for the Solheim Cup count double in the five majors. Thompson has stated that it is her goal to make the 2017 US team for the tournament.
"There's nothing like waking up, putting on my country's colours and going out and teeing it up for my country," quipped the two-time Solheim Cup winner.
The 46th ANA Inspiration tees off at Mission Hills Country Club in California on 30 March.
