Sergio Garcia will make a wish come true for one of his most avid fans in the Pro-Am of the British Masters in September.
Britain’s Mark Johnson, a 40-year-old Garcia fan, has tweeted the Spaniard every single day since 9 July 2016 using the hashtag #letmecaddieforyou in the hope that Garcia would take notice.
With tweets like this, you gotta hand it to him…

And finally, after 206 days, Garcia responded…
Ok @markjohno6969 I think I found the perfect day for you to get a taste of carrying my bag & make your dream come true! Are you ready? ?

So why did it take so long? Turns out Garcia was just playing hard to get…
“I noticed him the first time from the first tweet he posted at me,” said the 37-year-old on Tuesday at the Dubai Desert Classic.
“I thought it was quite funny and it was very sincere, and obviously I was wondering how long it was going to keep going.
“He showed a lot of perseverance and a lot of strength and energy and stuff throughout it. I’m sure it will be a great experience for him, and you know, also for us.”
Johnson’s dream will come true at the British Masters Pro-Am which tees off on September 27.
