Conor McGregor tells hockey player to ‘put him through the net!’

During Bubba Watson’s week at the Shenzen International, he took some time out to carry the bag for his caddie Ted Scott as the latter played some night golf… it did not end well.

Despite Watson’s relationship with Scott being one of the closest player-caddie bonds on Tour, the two-time Masters champion has never been able to live down his tantrum during the 2013 Travelers Championship.

After his shot found the water on TPC River Highland’s 16th hole, Watson immediately turned to Scott and berated him for putting that particular club in his hand.

“Water. It’s in the water. That club,” Watson hissed at Scott.

That incident gave birth to the #PrayForTedScott movement often seen on Twitter following Watson’s outbursts.

However, this week the roles were reversed and Watson had the misfortune of being on the receiving end of a tongue-lashing. It all looked very familiar.

In the actual tournament, Watson’s final round of 66 helped secure him a top-ten finish as he tied for eighth at 10-under-par at Genzon Golf Club in a weather affected week.
