The final round of the Shenzhen International golf event will have to be completed on Monday after thunderstorms stopped play at Genzon Golf Club in China on Sunday.
Over the first two days, more than six hours were lost due to weather with all three rounds being carried over to the next day for completion and Sunday was no different with another electrical thunderstorm storm stopping play for the day.
At the top of the leaderboard at the time were three golfers, Lee Slattery of England with a one-shot lead at 14-under-par on the 13th with overnight leader Soomin Lee of Korea Republic and then a hole back is Frenchman Alexander Levy.
South Africa’s Brandon Stone is a shot back at 13-under with Australian Scott Hend and Joost Luiten of the Netherlands.
In Sunday’s final round, Slattery did not drop any shots and birdied the par four sixth and par five ninth holes for a two-under round of 50 for the day before play was called off.
