Lydia Ko arrived in Hawaii a few days before the LPGA Lotte Championship to enjoy a short vacation and has absolutely loved her time in Aloha State.
Ko has been shown around the island by Hawaii native Michelle Wie.
“I’ve been enjoying my time here,” said Ko.
“Hawaii is Hawaii. It’s like paradise here. So it’s always good to be back in such a beautiful place with really good weather.
“I mean, Michelle is the face of Hawaii, so she’s been taking me around to some really great restaurants.
“Especially being a foodie, and I think Michelle is a foodie, too.”
However, despite enjoying some time away from the game, come the competition you can expect Ko to be her ruthless self out on the course.
2016 has been a prolific year for the 18-year-old.
On the third of April, she won the ANA Inspiration as she became the youngest player to win two women’s major championships.
The week before that, she won the Kia Classic.
After enjoying a fantastic experience at the Masters last week where she rubbed shoulders with some of the best players in the men’s game, Ko will want to be covered in glory on Sunday.
