Adam Scott and Sergio Garcia had very different responses to adversity during the first round of the WGC-Cadillac Championship.
Scott and Garcia dualled for the Honda Classic title last week, with the former eventually coming out on top, and judging by their reactions at Doral on Thursday, it’s not hard to see why the cooler and calmer Australian has often succeeded where the fiery and easily upsettable Spaniard has not.
Here’s Scott being totally put off by a policeman moving around behind him, resulting in a nasty mishit. He is clearly upset, but keeps his cool:

The contrast is fairly striking.
Scott would eventually sign for a four-under-par 68, while Garcia had to settle for a one-over 73.
