Rickie Fowler is putting last week's missed cut behind him as he focuses on on the Waste Management Phoenix Open.
The American carded rounds of 73 and 71 at the Farmers Insurance Open to leave him on even par, narrowly missing out on the cut and getting the weekend off.
However, the 27-year-old is not too shaken, as he has put together some very consistent golf in the past few months.
Prior to his missed cut, Fowler won the Abu Dhabi HSBC Golf Championship and finished fifth and third in events before that.
"I've been playing well through the middle of last year into the fall," clubcall quotes the three-time PGA Tour winner as saying.
"I'm excited to continue that. Last week was a little hiccup along the way but I'm looking forward to picking back up where we left off in Abu Dhabi.
"I'm a lot more confident after coming off four wins in the last nine months. The game feels great. Towards the end of last year is some of the best I have ever been swinging."
Joining Fowler in the field in Phoenix this week is Open Champion Zach Johnson, two-time Masters winner Bubba Watson and veteran Phil Mickelson.
