Jang makes history with albatross

South Korea’s Ha Na Jang has become the first woman to hit an albatross on a par-four hole in LPGA Tour history.

Jang achieved the feat at the 199-metre eighth hole of Ocean Club Golf Course during the third round of the season-opening Pure Silk Bahamas LPGA Classic.

The 23-year-old was one-under for the day when she arrived at the eighth hole and produced this…

Naturally, she was quite excited…

The albatross helped Jang post a 68 which saw her move to seven-under for the tournament, five shots back of leaders Anna Nordqvist and Charley Hull.
