Nico Hulkenberg had a weekend to forget at the United States Grand Prix…and his bad luck followed him onto the public road.
The German was forced to start at the back of the grid after incurring a 20-place grid penalty after mechanics changed out parts on his Renault engine.
Not that it mattered too much, as the hapless Renault managed just four laps before the engine gave out, forcing Hulkenberg to retire. And it wasn’t much better last year, as he crashed and retired from damage after seven laps.
So one would think when Hulkenberg drove out of the Austin complex, he left his woes behind. But life had something else in store…
Hulkenberg revealed on Snapchat that he was pulled over and issued a ticket by the local law enforcement after he failed to use his indicators.
