2017 Singapore GP: Beyond the track

Timothy Wee Timothy Wee

It wasn’t a case of all work and no play for the F1 Drivers over the 2017 Singapore GP weekend. The fun police was notably absent and we were there to capture all the highlights.

The (Pink) Birthday Boy

Finally, a reason to smile for Force India‘s driver Esteban Ocon.

The 21 years old Frenchman put his troubles in Belgium far behind him to finish tenth and chalk a point for his team in Singapore.

It was a fitting birthday gift; given that it was Ocon’s hatchday on race day.

Joyeux Anniversaire, @estebanocon! Turning 21 today ???

Needless to say, the birthday tributes came pouring in left, right and centre.

Always one to crash a party, we caught up with the birthday boy himself for some fun and games.

Red Bulls VS Durians

Besides successfully tackling the Marina Bay Street Circuit over the weekend, Red Bull drivers Daniel Ricciardo and Max Verstappen showed their physical prowess off the track by digging into our very own king of fruits.

Suffice to say, they did not decide to go for seconds.
