But the drivers weren’t the only ones taking in the local pre-race festivities. Singaporean celebrities, desperate to get in on the fun, partied it up Heineken Sustainability Fashion Collection Party at Lau Pa Sat yesterday.
Local musician Aarika Lee, part of this year’s F1 entertainment line-up, assembled her very own #GirlSquad consisting of fashion designer Elyn Wong, actresses Anita Kapoor and Janice Koh.
And lastly, and this is a good one, American pop singer Ariana Grande was out exploring the town. The #onelovemanchester concert organiser/performancer was taking in the sights at Gardens By The Bay and the nightly light show, Garden Rhapsody.
The 24-year-old performer, one of the musical acts slotted for Saturday night F1 concert, was having such a good time that she broke out in karaoke!
Just a little taste of what we can expect on Saturday, we guess. Oh Ariana, you tease.
