England captain Harry Kane believes his Tottenham teammate Dele Alli could be one of the Three Lions’ trump cards at the World Cup in Russia.
Alli had an underwhelming 2017/18 season with Spurs, scoring nine goals and providing 11 assists in 36 Premier League appearances, but he showed glimpses of brilliance as showcased in the 3-1 win over Chelsea in April when he bagged a brace.

Kane has backed the 22-year-old to make an impact at the World Cup with his unpredictable flair and eye for a goal.
“Dele has scored goals, assisted goals and he’s a game-changer,” Kane told his club’s official website.
“He has that ability where he can change a game in a second.
“You saw that earlier this season at Stamford Bridge with his great run, great touch and great finish to win us the game. In the big moments in the big games he’s there – and he enjoys those moments.”
Alli has thus far scored only two goals for England in 23 appearances. He made his debut for the Three Lions in October 2015.
