With the current season nearing its completion, all the European clubs have started looking for players who could improve their side, along with letting the under-performing players leave.
In this quest, club manager Zinedine Zidane might allow one of his first-team players, who hasn’t performed to the level he was expected to, leave and instead promote his son to the squad.
According to reports in AS, the Real Madrid manager wants Keylor Navas as his number one goalkeeper and is willling to let Thibaut Courtois leave. The Frenchman wants to promote his goalkeeper son Luca Zidane to the side.
Courtois only arrived earlier this season from Chelsea but hasn’t been able to save Real Madrid from having a below par season. Some of his individual mistakes have hurt the team as well and thus Zidane wants him out of the side.
FOX Sports Probability Rating: 1/5 – Having bought Courtois from Chelsea before this season, there’s a big possibility that Madrid won’t be letting him leave as early. Therefore, it wouldn’t be wrong to say that this rumour doesn’t have much in it and the Belgian shot-stopper will stay at the club.
