Reports: Manchester City to pip Real Madrid to Neymar signing with audacious cash plus player swap deal

In a sensational piece of transfer news, it has been reported that Premier League giants Manchester City are ready to outbid the likes of Real Madrid – to secure the services of PSG superstar Neymar Jr.

It is Don Balon that reports that Pep Guardiola and co. are ready to bud as high as £150million for the former Barcelona man, in addition to trading their own superstar striker Sergio Aguero along with the above-mentioned sum.

The Spanish news agency also adds that the Argentine foreard was looking to leave the club, and that he may hence be a part of the transfer deal that could eventually see the Braziliam ply his trade with the Sky Blues, starting next summer.

In 2017 June, Neymar left Barcelona and joined Paris Saint Germain for a world-record fee of €220million, and his overall value has only risen since then.

FOX Sports Asia probability ratings: 1/5; There is not much of a chance for this deal to happen, given how Neymar is more interested in a return to the La Liga – that is in case he is open to any transfer move at all.
