Manchester City’s Leroy Sane is reportedly unsettled at the club. Rumours have surfaced suggesting a move away from the club unless he is made a guaranteed starter.
According to TEAMtalk, Sane is becoming increasingly frustrated at the lack of starts. Having started only seven of City’s last 18 games, the German winger has had to settle for a bit-part role. His last 5 starts include Cardiff, Swansea, Schalke, West Ham and Newport which speaks volumes in itself.
Further, Pep chose to stick Riyad Mahrez out wide against Tottenham in the Champions League quarter-final. As the German international watched on from the bench, the Algerian turned in an insipid performance. Worryingly for the Germany international, Raheem Sterling and Bernando Silva have been untouchable this season. Their form has lit the touch paper and it comes as no surprise that the Catalan has afforded more game time to the duo.
It is uncertain whether the Manchester club would agree to a transfer, Even if they were to okay a move away from the club, Sane’s options are limited. Reports suggest that Juventus, Atletico Madrid and Bayern Munich would be interested in a move, but that too hinges on departures.
