Reports: Real Madrid slap price tag on Gareth Bale, two potential high-profile swap deals on the cards

Real Madrid star Gareth Bale’s time at the club is sadly coming to an end with the Welshman failing to reach the peak of his powers. Though Bale won a plethora of trophies in Madrid, he couldn’t quite reach the level everyone expected him to.

Thus, a move back to England is believed to be on the cards and Los Blancos are willing to listen to offers as well. However, they have slapped a price tag on the former Tottenham Hotspur man and anything below that amount would not be expected, unless there’s a player swap involved in the deal.

According to reports in AS, Real Madrid want €130 million for the Welshman or if it’s Manchester United who want him, a potential swap deal for Paul Pogba. Or if Tottenham want their former star back, then Los Blancos could ask Christian Eriksen to be involved in the deal.

FOX Sports Probability Rating: 3/5 – Gareth Bale is 29 years of age and it looks highly unlikely that a club would be willing to pay as much as €130 million for him until and unless they are in dire need of a signing late in the window. However, a potential swap deal could not be ruled out and Spurs wouldn’t mind letting Eriksen go considering the fact that Bale’s return would be beneficiary from the business point of view as well.
