Spanish giants Real Madrid are interested in a major squad overhaul in the summer, in a bid to distance themselves from the ghosts of the ongoing season where they have failed to perform across all major competitions.
They are currently linked with several top stars in Europe – namely, Eden Hazard, Paul Pogba, Christian Eriksen and Luka Jovic to name a few – and are also on course to offload a few of their current stars in the upcoming transfer window.
Meanwhile, Dermot Corrigan of ESPN, reports that German midfielder Toni Kroos could be the latet addition to Real Madrid’s set of transfer-listed players, based on Zidane’s words from the press conference earlier today.
He observed how Zidane said “we’ll see at the end of this season” when asked about Kroos, just as he had responded about questions on Gareth Bale and Marcelo – who are widely reported to have been transfer-listed as well.
Prob most interesting this morn was Zidane putting Kroos on the list of 'we'll see at end of season" like Bale and Marcelo, not the "I definitely want them to stay" of Varane, Ramos and Benzema.

He went on to add that Zidane’s tone was entirely different when speaking about Sergio Ramos, Rafael Varane and Karim Benzema, who he “definitely wanted” to see at the club in 2018-19 as well.
FOX Sports Asia probability ratings: 4/5; Toni Kroos, Gareth Bale and Marcelo have not had a good year at the Bernabeu, thanks to uncharacteristic drops in form and poor results as well. Talks of these stars being unsettled at the club are also higher than ever. It is only a matter of time before the club takes its final decision on the stars.
