Reports: European giants present massive offer to Sergio Ramos as Real Madrid contract negotiations stall

Real Madrid training: goals galore for Gareth Bale and co.

Real Madrid have had several iconic players play for them in the past. It’s fair to say that Sergio Ramos will be regarded amongst those in the future. The Spanish defender has been with Los Blancos since 2005 and has played an important role in their success over the past decade. However, he could soon be out of the Bernabeu doors.

According to reports from Spanish news outlet Don Balon, Paris Saint Germain are ready to offer a massive deal to Sergio Ramos. The Spanish defender is said to be their priority target as they go looking for that elusive UEFA Champions League crown.

The report states that Ramos has been shunned time-and-again in his request for contract negotiation. The Real Madrid defender has been one of the key figures at the club and wants a renewal worth €18 Million per annum. Moreover, the Spaniard is unwilling to accept wages below what Los Blancos would potentially pay to one of their high-profile summer signings.

This is where PSG come in. The French giants are ready to accept Ramos’s wage demands in order to lure him to Paris. Meanwhile, the Real Madrid skipper is himself keen on a stay in the Spanish capital but could be forced to move if his demands are not met.

FOX Sports Asia Probability Rating: 1/5; Sergio Ramos remains an integral part of Real Madrid, both on and off the pitch. Therefore, it seems unlikely that Los Blancos will be willing to lose their star with such ease. However, the Spanish giants did recently bid adieu to Cristiano Ronaldo for reasons not too dissimilar to this one.
