Marchisio demands perfection

The Serie A leaders go into the encounter on the back of Tuesday’s 1-1 draw with Inter Milan, their third draw in their last four league games.

The result kept Juve at the top of the standings, but just one point ahead of Roma.

The Turin giants have not won at Napoli in Serie A since the 2000-01 campaign and last month lost to Rafael Benitez’s side in a penalty shootout in the Supercoppa final in Doha.

“Our current form counts for little when facing a game like this one,” Marchisio told Italia. “This game is so important that we don’t need any extra motivation.

“Napoli have a great attack and it’s going to be very difficult to beat them at home.

“We will need to be focused and not make any mistakes.”

Napoli have lost just once at home this season and are fourth in the standings, level on 30 points with Lazio, who are third.
