Turkish side Besiktas have denied that striker Cenk Tosun is on his way to Everton.
Widespread reports in the UK have suggested that new Everton boss Sam Allardyce wants to make Tosun his first signing at Goodison Park and negotiations are underway over a £25million move.
The 26-year-old has netted nine times for Beskitas this season and would boost Everton’s options up front after the summer departure of Romelu Lukaku.

But Besiktas have denied even receiving an offer for Tosun, despite the frontman appearing to wave goodbye to the club’s fans during Thursday’s win over Osmanlispor.
“There is nothing official about transferring Cenk Tosun,” said coach Senol Gunes.
“I am happy with my team and I do not want my players to go.”
Everton have also been linked with a move for Sevilla midfielder Steven Nzonzi, who played under Allardyce at Blackburn Rovers.
