Kevin De Bruyne's agent has suggested his client could demand parity with Neymar when signing a new contract with Manchester City.
The in-form Belgian international is currently earning a staggering £115,000 per week on a contract that runs until 2021.
Neymar earns a reported £500,000 per week from Paris Saint Germain, which is a significant increase and one that his club would be highly unlikely to pay.
Speaking to Radio CRC in Italy, Patrick De Koster said: "In the coming months I'll meet with City to figure out how to improve and extend his contract.
"His salary? I cannot say. But if you think what Neymar and Kylian Mbappe are being paid, you can picture."
New PSG signing Mbappe is currently earning a reported £300,000 a week.
The 26-year-old, who was signed by the club from VfL Wolfsburg after being discarded by Chelsea, has been described by Citizen's boss Pep Guardiola as 'the best player in Europe bar one' following his scintillating displays this season – that has seen him nominated for the Ballon d'Or.
De Koster added: "He can't expect to win the Ballon d'Or at the moment, he's still far from footballers like Messi and CR7.
"Everything will depend on how much he can achieve with City, there's still a big difference now."
