Valon Behrami is the latest player through the door at Watford as he joins Italian side Udinese on a two-year-deal.
The Swiss midfielder, now 32, returns to Serie A after two seasons with the Hornets, having previously played for Lazio, Fiorentina, and Napoli.
“We closed the deal very quickly, ” said Udinese director general Franco Collavino.
“Udinese wanted a player with these characteristics and with this experience in our league, Serie A, where Behrami wanted to go back to test himself.”
The Hornets have seen plenty of arrivals and departures this transfer window, and this one was aided by the fact that both clubs are owned by the Pozzo family.
