Liverpool agree loan move for Ojo

Liverpool have sent young attacking prospect Sheyi Ojo on loan to Championship side Fulham.

The 20-year-old former MK Dons youth team player arrived at Anfield in 2015 and has spent two season on loan already, with Wigan Athletic and Wolves.

An England under 20 international, who was part of the national side that won the Under-20 World Cup, Ojo is expected to enjoy a bright career with Liverpool, and has been sent to the Cottagers to continue his education.

He told Fulham’s official website: “Fulham’s a massive club and they’re definitely not a team that should be in the Championship.

“So my main aim will definitely be to come in and help get us back in the Premier League.”

Club Chairman Tony Khan added: “I’m delighted to welcome Sheyi Ojo to the Fulham Football Club. I’ve had the pleasure of spending time with Sheyi and his family, and I’ve seen first-hand what a tremendous work ethic Sheyi has both on and off the pitch.

“He possesses fantastic physical talents and also carries himself with poise and class, and I know that he’s going to be a great addition to our squad.”

All-in-all Ojo has played 13 times for Liverpool, scoring once.
