Newcastle United have signed Stoke City striker Joselu on a three-year-deal as manager Rafael Benitez continues strengthening the newly-promoted side.
The Spaniard has been brought in for a £5million fee after spending last season on loan at Deportivo, where he scored five goals in 20 league games.
The 27-year-old follows fellow signings Christian Atsu, Florian Lejeune, Jacob Murphy, Javier Manquillo, and Mikel Merino to the Magpies.

“I feel very happy because I have signed for a very big club,” Josel said, according to Sky Sports.
“I’m very happy to be part of this club, and so excited. I’m looking forward to getting to know my teammates, the city, the training ground, the stadium and all the supporters.”
