Nathan signs with Chelsea

The 19-year-old posted pictures of himself at Chelsea's training ground and signing a contract, but the Blues have yet to confirm whether Nathan will be their first signing of the summer. 

"A dream is coming true! First of all I want to thank God for always lighting my way, my dad who always believed in my talent and was a real warrior while helping me to reach my goals, my family and friends who always supported me," Nathan wrote on Instagram.

According to multiple news outlets, Nathan, who played for Brazilian club Atletico Paranaense, will join the Blues for a fee of 4.5 million pounds. But, before Nathan can turn out for the Blues, the Brazilian's work permit will have to be approved by the Home Office.

The Brazil Under-20 player paid tribute to Atletico Paranaense for the role that they have played in his development.

"I am also thankful to Club Atletico Paranaense, which was part of this journey and where I played for 6 years of my career," he said. "Thank you Chelsea for trusting in me, I will do my best to support my team on reaching new achievements. We are all blue."
