Paris Saint-Germain manager Unai Emery praised his players after they came back from goal down to beat Nice 2-1 for their third consecutive victory.
The Parisians were bundled out of the UEFA Champions League by Real Madrid on March 6 but responded to the disappointment by beating FC Metz, SCO Angers, and now OGC Nice in Ligue 1.
Allan Saint-Maximin opened the scoring for the hosts in the 17th minute of Sunday’s clash at Allianz Riviera, but Angel Di Maria and Dani Alves scored to give PSG the victory.
Emery told Canal: “It was a tough match today, the type of match we like to play against an opponent who asks us to defend for 90 minutes and offers a lot of duels.
“We had the same type of match last year, so this win is very good for us. The team played a good game today. I’m happy.
“Since the defeat against Madrid, the team has responded well, whether against Metz, Angers or today.
“We must continue like this. I’m happy with all the players. Congratulations to them.”
