Kylian Mbappe’s Twitter account hacked, posts Bitcoin exchange offers before deleting

Paris Saint-Germain star Kylian Mbappe’s Twitter account was apparently hacked earlier today. The posts put up by the reported hacker(s) were later deleted.

The 20-year-old French forward sent out a tweet which read, ‘Want a “shoutout”? €200 in BTC (Bitcoin). DM me. BTC only.’ The post was deleted around 30 minutes later, but not before it was picked up quite a few football fans and general public alike, considering the fact that thee youngster has over 2.6 million followers on the social media platform.

This is not the first instance of a footballer’s account getting hacked with the likes of Samir Nasri being a victim of the same. In the past, Twitter accounts of clubs like FC Barcelona and Real Madrid have been hacked as well.

So much so, that hackers tweeted a post welcoming Lionel Messi from Real Madrid’s account. “Benvingut Messi! Bienvenido Messi! Welcome Messi! Bienvenue Messi! #Messi,” the post read with the video showing Messi scoring against their arch rivals.
