Real Madrid star Cristiano Ronaldo is celebrating the birth of his new baby daughter with mother Giorgina Rodriguez.
The four-time Ballon D’Or winner confirmed the birth of his fourth child – and first with Rodriguez – via his Instagram account on Sunday.
The baby girl, who was delivered at the Quiron Universal Hospital in Madrid, is named Alana Martina.
“Alana Martina has just been born! Geo (Giorginia) and Alana are doing great! We are all very happy!” Ronaldo wrote.
In the picture posted to Instagram, Rodriguez is smiling happily as Ronaldo and Cristiano Jr stand behind her.
Ronaldo also had twins named Eva and Mateo in July, with Spanish media reporting that the children were born to an unidentified surrogate mother in the United States.
His eldest child, Cristianinho, was born in July 2010 from a mother whose identity is still a secret as well.
During the launch of his clothing brand last week, Ronaldo expressed his happiness at being a father.
“Being a father is a unique thing and a new adventure, something that changed my life completely. It tells me about love that I do not think has ever existed. It softens me and gives me another view of the significance of my life,” he said.
“I can not wait to be a father again. Being a father and seeing them grow without hesitation is the privilege that I have. Spending time with them, being near them, smiling and laughing together. Bringing happiness to my life.”
