Gareth Bale has moved a step closer to a Real Madrid comeback after completing his first training session for two months.
Bale has been out of action since September after suffering a calf injury in Madrid’s Champions League win over Borussia Dortmund.
It has been an issue which has plagued the Welshman throughout his Madrid career, but after missing his side’s last seven games, he is now back in full training, along with Raphael Varane and Dani Carvajal.
? Keep it up, lads!

Sunday’s clash against Las Palmas is likely to come too soon for Bale, but his return will be a big boost for boss Zinedine Zidane after the La Liga defeat to Girona and Champions League loss against Spurs.
“The team have completed another training session at Real Madrid City as they continue preparations for this weekend’s clash with UD Las Palmas,” Madrid confirmed in a statement.
“The biggest news was the return of Gareth Bale, who completed the full session with the rest of his teammates. Varane and Carvajal also joined in the first half with the group, before the right-back went on to complete a series of specific exercises out on the pitch.”
