It’s safe to say that Italian striker Simone Zaza was not a success during his time in the Premier League with West Ham.
Signed on loan from Juventus, Zaza huffed and puffed during his 11 games for the Hammers, but ultimately failed to register a single goal before he was ushered out the exit door to Spain.
So news that the ‘hitman’ had scored a seven-minute hat-trick in Valencia’s 5-0 rout of Malaga on Tuesday night made fans of the East London club sit up in disbelief, while producing a few hilarious tweets in the process.
Why did Zaza send his brother to play for West Ham #Hatrick ?

You could be forgiven for thinking that everything is going swimmingly for Zaza in Spain, given that he’s bagged 10 goals in 25 games for the La Liga club, but you’d be wrong.
After being substituted on Saturday during a 1-1 draw with Levante, Zaza stormed off the pitch and down the tunnel without acknowledging the fans.
Valencia coach Marcelino was not happy, so he forced Zaza out onto the pitch to clap the travelling fans after the final whistle.
The disagreement led Zaza’s girlfriend Chiari Biasi to post the following cryptic message on her Instagram.
Which roughly translates as: “If you want people with character, you must know how to manage them. Above all you must find the balls you have, do not leave them in a drawer for no reason.”
Zaza shrugged off the row with his coach when asked about it in a post-match interview, saying: “”What happened on Saturday is already forgotten, I think it is normal that a player is angry when he doesn’t play.”
Maybe Marcelino should make Zaza angry more more often?
