Reports: Barcelona coaching staff not impressed by club star as he misses both optional training sessions

Barcelona took everyone by surprise when they signed Kevin-Prince Boateng from Sassuolo on a loan deal. And it seems it’s all coming crashing down for the former Ghana international.

Boateng has made only one appearance for Barcelona in La Liga but it’s his off the field antics which is now worrying the club. According to reports in Spanish media, the 32-year-old hasn’t impressed the club’s coaching staff.

Reportedly, Boateng doesn’t show a lot of interest in training and apparently missed both the optional training sessions during the international break despite being free of any national duties.

The club have an option of signing him on a permanent deal in the summer for a sum of €8 million but that doesn’t look very likely now. However, Boateng still has a couple of months left to impress the Barcelona coaching staff with the club fighting for the Champions League as well.
