Reports: Zinedine Zidane interested in signing young Serie-A superstar for Real Madrid

Spanish giants Real Madrid are looking well set on their path to redemption, following Zinedine Zidane’s reappointment as their manager.

The Frenchman has already started moving forward with hopes of signing Eden Hazard from Chelsea, while a few other stars continue to be top targets. It is also being reported that a some players in the current Madrid squad could head for the exit door in the upcoming summer transfer window.

Meanwhile, latest reports coming from the El Chiringuito TV, suggest that Zidane is apparently interested in SS Lazio midfielder Sergej Milinkovic-Savic. The 24-year old had an amazing 2017-’18 season with the club, scoring 14 goals and making 9 assists across 48 appearances.

Speaking of the ongoing season, Milinkovic-Savic have not had a good run so far, with just 4 goals and 2 assists from 31 appearances. But there is still plenty of time for the Serbian to turn the tables on his numbers, his young age also being a crucial factor to be able to say that he will continue to develop as a player in the coming years.

Meanwhile, Eurosport reports that Zidane’s shopping list will not just include the Lazio star, as Allan from Napoli is another name in midfield that would be considered by the Frenchman. But Napoli had already announced that he is not for sale, and they are yet to have a change of minds.
